From our humble beginnings in the 1970s, the Amtek network today spans 12 countries in three continents. Our manufacturing operations are located in Singapore (HQ), China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand in Asia; France, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland in Europe. These are supported by technical centres and offices located in Singapore, China, India, Japan, France and the United States. Amtek has nurtured the China market since the 90s. We established our first manufacturing facility in the province of Huizhou in 1993. Recognising China's rapid rate of maturity, we have since added Suzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Huizhou and Zhongshan to our China footprint. With China becoming the epicentre of any supply chain, Amtek has more than 300,000 sqm of space to support the OEMs in manufacturing their components and products. With a global operation, we give OEMs the flexibility in managing their global chain. Depending on their requirements and manufacturing strategies, they could choose to either ramp up production at multiple locations simultaneously across the Amtek network, or they could choose to mass produce from any of our facilities. Either way, OEMs sharpen their competitive advantage by being faster to market and minimising obsolescence.
